Implementation of the British Columbia Aquaculture Regulatory Program has resulted in streamlined regulatory processes and requirements for the aquaculture industry.

Implementation of the British Columbia Aquaculture Regulatory Program has significantly reduced the number of permits that an aquaculture operator in British Columbia will require. For example, for a finfish operator, permits are reduced by half—from six permits to three.
